2Hurt – Indie band from Rome, Italy

January 23rd 2009 - This Italian duo produces music generated from personal experience and the creation of a minimalist style that effectively captures the essence of their influences. Actually, 2Hurt demonstrates the importance of combining multiple instruments with powerful vocals in order to create the right tone for their genre.

The band is formed of veteran rock musician Paolo Bertozzi and violinist Laura Senatore. Bertozzi is also the guitarist for the Italian punk rock group Fasten Belt. However, the sound of a duet and the complicity that is transmitted through each piece really sets this project apart. All the instruments are played by Paolo Bertozzi except, of course, the violin, which Laura plays with such sensitivity and emotivity.

The band's compositions are simply a result of the electriticity between both Bertozzi and Senatore's talent; a blend that creates a unique musical experience.

The song «2,000 miles from home» truly protrays the irresistable and melancholic style of 2Hurt.
